Clinical breast examination (CBE) – Interpretation: abnormal/positive cases

CBE is considered abnormal or positive if you find any of the following abnormalities:

a lump in the breast or axilla;
recent changes in the size and shape of the breast;
changes in the skin;
changes in the nipple; or
discharge from the nipple.
