Architectural distortion
Architectural distortion seen on breast ultrasound is caused by distortion of the normal lobular anatomy. Whenever there is a loss of normal breast parenchymal echotexture, such as in breast malignancy, surgery or biopsy of the breast, breast trauma, or infection, it is classed as architectural distortion ![](pic/CASE.jpg) .
