Breast imaging – Breast ultrasound – Ultrasound-guided interventional procedures

Core needle biopsy or FNAC can be done under ultrasound guidance for a clinically palpable lump or a clinically occult lesion that is detected on imaging.
Therapeutic aspiration of a breast cyst can also be performed under ultrasound guidance as a simple outpatient procedure.
