After application of Lugol’s iodine: The acetowhite area does not stain with Lugol’s iodine.
Determined eligibility for ablative treatment:

Remarks: Lugol’s iodine clearly demarcates the large abnormal area on the ectocervix. Such large lesions occupying all four quadrants of the cervix are not suitable for treatment by ablation.
