Age: 34

Before application of acetic acid: The central red patch is columnar epithelium. The surrounding ectocervix is covered by pink squamous epithelium. A nabothian cyst is present at the 6 o’clock position.

Cervix before application of acetic acid:

After application of acetic acid: The SCJ is prominent. Tongue-shaped thin acetowhite epithelium is seen projecting towards the external os.
