Case Summary
Provisional diagnosis: Tuberculosis ulcer of cervix.

Management: Confirmation of diagnosis by biopsy and Ziehl–Neelsen stain of swab followed by antituberculous treatment.

Histopathology: Tuberculosis of cervix with giant cells and granulation tissue.

Comment: The rare condition is characterized by an ulcer with whitish granulation tissue in the base and surrounding congestion. No change after acetic acid application. [Click here to see the colposcopy images six months after anti-TB treatment]
