    Case Summary
Provisional diagnosis: Type 3 transformation zone; suspicion of squamous cell carcinoma.

Management: Multiple punch biopsies from the anterior and posterior lips of the cervix.

    Histopathology: Squamous cell carcinoma.

Comment: A large dense acetowhite area, elevated surface, coarse mosaics and punctations, and multiple erosions are diagnostic features of invasive cancer even if no obvious growth is present.
