Before application of acetic acid: Thick curdy white or cheese-like discharge sticks to the cervix. The cervix is congested.

Remarks: Thick curdy white discharge of candida infection can stick to the surface of the cervix. Syndromic management of candidiasis is indicated. Application of acetic acid clears the discharge from the cervix.
