ASC-H and atypical immature metaplasia
ASC-H and atypical immature metaplasia. Small round cells with a high N/C ratio, pale or sometimes dense cytoplasm. Cell borders are well to poorly defined. The nuclear membrane is smooth and a dense and uniformly distributed chromatin is noted. At times nucleoli are prominent.
Atypical repair pattern is included in this type of abnormalities. (see also: immature squamous metaplasia)
