After application of acetic acid: Dense acetowhite epithelium with sharp margins is present close to the external os on both the anterior and posterior lips. The lesion extends into the endocervical canal. Areas of peeled-off epithelium (erosion) with bleeding are seen at the 12 o’clock position.
