Condyloma acuminatum
Lesion due to human papilloma virus (HPV - usually 6 or 11) excluded from CIN 1 lesions (WHO 2003).
It is a papillary exophytic benign lesion containing fibrovascular cores lined by stratified squamous epithelium with cytopathic changes of HPV infection. Koilocytic changes are present in the mid and upper part of the epithelium. A minimal parabasal cell nuclear polymorphism exists and sometimes some acanthosis.
