 Training course for master trainers in cervical cancer prevention, early detection, and management, Thimphu, Bhutan01/05/2017 – 04/05/2017This training course, with participants from Bhutan, was organized in collaboration with the Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital (JDWNRH) to provide technical support for the cervical cancer screening programme. |

 Training course for master trainers in cervical cancer prevention, early detection, and management, Barshi, India20/03/2017 – 24/03/2017This training course, with participants from Bangladesh and India, was organized in collaboration with the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh; the Tata Memorial Centre Rural Cancer Project, Nargis Dutt Memorial Cancer Hospital (NDMCH), Barshi, Maharashtra, India; and the WHO Country Office in Bangladesh. |
 Training programme on cervical cancer screening using visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA) and management of premalignant lesions, Quito, Ecuador13/03/2017 – 17/03/2017This training programme was carried out in collaboration with the Fundación Internacional Buen Samaritano Paul Martel (FIBUSPAM) and the Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas (INEN), Peru. The training programme was organized to provide technical support for the pilot cervical cancer screening programme “Proyecto Prevenir Juntos” in Ecuador, which is funded by the International Foundation. FIBUSPAM plans to roll out the screening programme subsequent to the training of their clinicians and nurses by IARC and INEN. |
